Episode 4 of the DIPLOMICS Network Partner Profile Series takes us to the Onderstepoort Veterinary Research Campus, outside of Pretoria. Here, we spent the day with the ARC's Biotechnology Platform (BTP), which boasts world-class genomic infrastructure and expertise, and leverages its multiple-disciplinary technologies to strengthen agriculture in the SADC region and beyond. The BTP's willingness to utilise it's tools to help commercial and small-holding farming communities showcases its commitment to capacity building from a grass-root level.
