In episode 6 of our DIPLOMICS Network Partner Profile Series, we pay a visit to the SAMRC's Genomic Centre at their Tygerberg facility in Cape Town.  

 

Established in 2019, this facility is the only one in the country to offer MGI technology for large, whole genome sequencing. Their goal is to improve access to whole genome sequencing technologies for precision medicine research and clinical applications.
