KwaZulu-Natal Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform

KRISP trains the next generation of scientists in Global Health, Epidemiology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Epigenetics & Fast Advancing Technologies. KRISP host many of the tools that were developed in (Prof. Tulio de Oliveira's old group website). The great majority of their tools are freely and openly accessible. In addition, they also provide a linux cluster so the tools can be used free of charge. KRISP is part of the Southern African Treatment and Resistance Network (SATuRN), and have been working with a network of academic laboratories to develop and implement a cheaper resistance genotype test.
