The BD Introductory Flow Cytometry Course consists of two components: a series of virtual 90-minute seminar sessions on flow cytometry principles, followed by in-person hands-on training on flow cytometry setup and data analysis.
The topics are as follows:
Introduction to Flow Cytometry and components of a flow cytometer
Fluorochrome chemistry, spillover & compensation
Panel design principles for multicolour panels - Introduction to FACSAria setup and components
Experimental setup on FACSAria III
Data analysis in FlowJo

We welcome anybody who is interested to register and attend the online sessions.
Applications close: 28 September 2026
For hands-on training, we can only take six participants to ensure proper training. For this reason, we'd like for those who wish to take part in hands-on training to motivate on 'why they should be selected for this part of the course '. Therefore, only select ONE option when applying.
Note that only those who attend both the online courses as well as hands-on training will receive accreditation.
