LEARNING OBJECTIVES
ABOUT
The South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB), in collaboration with DIPLOMICS, will be running a training workshop aimed at upskilling of researchers to build practical bioinformatics skills. NRF-SAIAB invites you to an in-person training workshop designed to get you up and running on the command line and HPC environments used in modern genomics research. The training will be held in person at NRF-SAIAB (Makhanda) or online.
You will learn:
• Navigating the Unix/Linux shell with confidence
• Working on High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters
• Managing software environments with Conda for reproducible bioinformatics workflows
