The workshop covered the fundamental molecular techniques most often used in a genomics laboratory.


The training covered both the theoretical and practical training in the following aspects:

  • DNA extraction methodologies

  • Nanodrop DNA quantification

  • PCR

  • Agarose gel electrophoresis

  • PCR product purification

  • Preparation of samples for Sanger sequencing
