CenGen in partnership with DIPLOMICS under the 1KSA initiative, aims to share knowledge with genomics students and researchers through a 2-day Plant HMW DNA extraction workshop.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants received in-depth, hands-on training from experienced staff on:

  • High-molecular-weight (HMW) DNA extraction from plants.  

  • The importance of DNA quality control (QC) steps

  • Downstream impacts if DNA QC metrics are not met.
